The Dragonfly

Once, in a little pond, in the muddy water under the lily pads,

there lived a little water beetle in a community of water

beetles. They lived a simple and comfortable life in the pond

with few disturbances and interruptions.
Once in a while, sadness would come to the community when one of their fellow beetles would climb the stem of a lily pad and

would never be seen again. They knew when this happened; their

friend was dead, gone forever.
Then, one day, one little water beetle felt an irresistible urge

to climb up that stem. However, he was determined that he would

not leave forever. He would come back and tell his friends what

he had found at the top.
When he reached the top and climbed out of the water onto the

surface of the lily pad, he was so tired, and the sun felt so

warm, that he decided he must take a nap. As he slept, his body

changed and when he woke up, he had turned into a beautiful

blue-tailed dragonfly with broad wings and a slender body

designed for flying.
So, fly he did! And, as he soared he saw the beauty of a whole

new world and a far superior way of life to what he had never

known existed.
Then he remembered his beetle friends and how they were thinking by now he was dead. He wanted to go back to tell them, and explain to them that he was now more alive than he had ever been before. His life had been fulfilled rather than ended.
But, his new body would not go down into the water. He could

not get back to tell his friends the good news. Then he

understood that their time would come, when they, too, would

know what he now knew. So, he raised his wings and flew off

into his joyous new life!

Vague

I first realized changes in me when I starting writing poetry, then I read “Celestine Prophecy”… it amused me for a while… then I wrote more. Maturing youth, adorned my ‘Bouquet of thoughts’, my poetry folder…. then there was thunder, rain and storm… I read ‘Necronomicon’, the devil’s guide book… I was intrigued… my poetry started changing… then i graduated from a meditation course.. Silva ESP Ultramind… I discovered my third eye.. And I unearth this piece of my soul !
The starlit sky often inquires who it I await is,

The correlated truth served amiss.

I reconnoiter the stars if there was an innate remaining,

But they just sparkled in inscrutable contradiction.

Then I smell blood and the intoxication takes over,

My insatiable incisors hunt insanely for prey.

The hours of darkness are cold and villainy, amok frayed.

As my throat dries and thirsts for the warm phlebotomize.

I can even statue the sound of cracking neck bones

As my teeth sink in and drink in placidity.

But these shadows of my composure shall never be proclaimed

And I relish the authentic arrangement so sacredly secret,

While when others enumerated, excluded me for my humble bouquet of poetry

Only if the rival anthology reckoned the devil enchased

Unreachable in the depth of dark pits of underground commanding the demons,

Dare they have the undaunted provocation?

But I calm my desires in anticipation of the right moment,

Till I light upon the insolent who abused my innocuous ingénue,

Walked all over my anguished heart.

That shall be the culmination of that banal creature.

As I father my death dealing on my foe’s blood

My adversary paralyzed in fear while I confront

How vague an idea actuated insouciantly about my inset helpless soul.

Stumbling through the playful years of seven or may be eight when I cognized to my surroundings, my foster parents never had voiced that I was not their own blood or suggestion of any hint of so_ my mother was rather eminently tending and affectionate. My father nymphed quadruplet of prestiges, out of which my prescriptive mother dealt her body in brothels. Starlight addressed a loophole in Quantum Theory

600-year-old starlight addressed a loophole in quantum theory

Physicists created a cosmic experiment to help prove quantum entanglement is real.
Andrew Dalton in Space
Quantum entanglement, where two particles are separated by space and yet inextricably linked by the laws of quantum mechanics, has already been proven to be real, but something called the “freedom-of-choice loophole” has so far made it impossible to definitively prove the theory. That is, until physicists from the University of Vienna and MIT addressed that loophole with a blast of 600-year-old starlight.

If two particles are entangled, then any measurement made on one of them will be instantly reflected in the other. As MIT News notes, the freedom-of-choice loophole is the idea that there may be outside variables or other unseen factors that can make two particles appear to be entangled when they aren’t. In other words: some hidden, non-quantum force may influence the second particle in the time it takes to measure the first one, making them appear to exhibit the same properties. In the past, researchers have tried to account for this by introducing highly controlled experiments and random elements, but those still didn’t close the loophole.

In 2014, however, a team of physicists came up with an experiment that would use photons emitted from a star 600 light years away as a random number generator and remove a large amount of doubt that loophole created. The experiment was recently run for the first time and its massive setup was detailed in the journal Physical Review Letters today: the entangled photons were generated in a lab in Vienna and then shot out via lasers to two different measurement stations several blocks away in opposite directions. A telescope at each station measured the color of the photons streaming in from a specific star and then used that wavelength to determine it should measure a specific property of each of the photons in order to confirm their entanglement.

While the experiment still doesn’t completely rule out outside influence, it does mean that those forces would had to have been set in motion 600 years in the past in order to influence the outcome of the experiment — a very unlikely proposition. “We’re saying, in order for some crazy mechanism to simulate quantum mechanics in our experiment, that mechanism had to have been in place 600 years ago to plan for our doing the experiment here today, and to have sent photons of just the right messages to end up reproducing the results of quantum mechanics,” Alan Guth, professor of Physics at MIT and one of the researchers on the team explained. “So it’s very far-fetched.”
